Ruth Demetriou is the Founder and Broker-Owner of Best Team Realty and a licensed New York real estate professional with more than three decades of experience representing buyers, sellers, and investors. Licensed as a real estate salesperson since 1988 and a real estate broker since 1990, Ruth founded Best Team Realty in 1992 and has successfully guided clients through more than 1,000 real estate transactions.
Known for her strategic pricing expertise, strong negotiation skills, and disciplined transaction management, Ruth combines the analytical background of a Certified Public Accountant with the market experience of a seasoned real estate broker. This unique perspective allows her to provide clients with clear financial insight while protecting their interests from listing through closing.
Ruth has built a reputation for handling complex real estate transactions with professionalism and precision, including estate sales, short sales, 1-4 family properties, Co-ops & Condos, mixed-use properties, and investment real estate. Her structured approach, attention to detail, and commitment to client advocacy have earned the trust of generations of buyers, sellers, and investors.
In addition to leading her brokerage, Ruth has been actively involved in industry and business leadership. She served as President of the South Queens Chapter of the Long Island Board of Realtors (LIBOR) in 2019and previously served as Director of the Multiple Listing Service of Long Island from 2010 to 2015. She also served as Vice President of the Peruvian American Chamber of Commerce of Long Island (PACCLI) 2016-2018, supporting business development and community leadership.
